Isn't she even more gorgeous than at Confirmation! I forgot to take a picture of just her. I know I am a dork, so you are getting a serious and a silly picture of her with Morgan and Megan. I tried to talk her into putting all of it back on so I could take one of her...but she objected.
Rochelle was tapped into National Honor Society this spring. These are the six new members. There are only two in her class and one sophomore in NHS the rest are all seniors. GO RO!
Mikayla won the ESA Outstanding Youth Award. You have to be nominated by your teachers. Only seven in the Jr. High were nominated. Then you have to write an essay, get a letter of recommendation, list your activities and accomplishments and submit to an interview. The topic for the essay was "Friendship, Laughter and Love in my Life" If you would like to see the essay, I can email it too you. It was pretty cute. They read it out loud and she had a part in there about her laugh being like Grandma Hunt's and how she laughs with her whole body---well she was on stage laughing---with her whole body!
They can go from looking so gorgeous to looking like ranch hands! They made the boys look like wusses!
Whitney had field day. She and Kallysta did the three-legged race. They got third place 'cuz one team fell down and got fourth! She also did the softball throw, the long jump and the 50-yard dash. Oh my it was windy that day too!! There was a lot of giggling going on in this race and not a lot of racing!
